Navratri , consider as very spiritual for Hindus. People perform fasting during these 9 days and few of them even sacrifices the use of there personal belongings as belt, wallet & shoes etc. People consider Navratri very auspicious and they do the worship of Maa Durga during this period.
This is the time men worship a women for the entire 9 days . In a male dominated society where females are always suppressed. Ma Durga is celebrated as the symbol of feminine force and courage. People worship her for 9 days and consider females weak once 9days are completed.in But this is the time to wake up for all the men who considered female weak and never got intimidated. Its the time for all women to speak up and let men get intimidated with the thought of getting revealed.
This Navratri lets play for all the women, ladies and girls that they get all their rights. No Durga is aborted,No Saraswati is stopped from going school,No Lakshmi has to beg money from husband,No Parvati is sacrificed for dowry,No Sita has to suffer in silence and no Kali is given the tube of fairness cream.
