Namaste Readers!?
As the world is suffering from the outbreak of Coronavirus the economy of the world is devastated, the share market is collapsed. Fear Anxiety is being circulated everywhere. The only way to stay safe from this deadly virus is to stay away from people and avoid going to large gatherings. It is being said that Coronovirus spreads through coughing and sneezing ,the virus sticks to your hands and when you come in contact with anyone this contagious virus enters your body through the throat and then to chest gifting you pneumonia at an earlier stage and corona at a later stage.
The only pleasantry which is trending is Namaste. Namaste has got global recognition in the world. Ditching handshake every one from Donald Trump to Prince Charles is greeting namaste. When in the era where everyone prefers to hug ,kiss and handshake Namaste is considered as the Suraksha Chakra from this virus. Namaste is being originated from Namas and te. “Namas” means to bow, adore and “te “means you. We bow down in front of our diety and admire them by saying Namaste. It is our tradition to greet our guests and relatives by Namaste. The gesture of Namaste is to convey honor, respect, courtesy, and politeness. The children say Namaste to their elders to seek their blessings. But in the era of 21st century, Namaste seemed to be just a tradition but, it’s back with a bang and it is trending!

Namaste is also a part of the 16 upacharas which means it is used in temples for worship. Apart from India, it is being preached in Nepal, Bangladesh and the southeastern part of Asia. Namaste has the spiritual as well as scientific benefits. It is said while you shake hand with someone you are transferring your positive energy to another person, and which we can very well see how the virus spreads by shaking hands. While doing namaste you join two hands with a bow. In the human body, there is a constant flow of energy. It is believed that the concentration of energy increases when we utter the word Namaste. It also helps in the generation of spiritual positivism.

India organized a grand welcome for the US President Donald Trump on 24th February 2020. The event was named “Namaste Trump” which was a response to Howdy Modi. We believed in our ritual and stuck to our Namaste. Namaste is trending with Coronovirus as the no-contact salutation. But alone Namaste won’t help you to stay away from Coronavirus.

Everyone in the world is trying to do their bit in not spreading this disease. Various companies are coming with the remote work model , asking their employees to work from home and avoid traveling. Companies like Paytm, Swiggy, Flipkart, Snapdeal, OLA are the companies who have come forth to adopt this model. We as an individual should consider this as our moral responsibility in not spreading this disease but staying aware and alert about it.
In the situation of pandemic please stay safe guys.
Precaution is better than Cure!
I love the fun facts about Namaste. Definitely the best way to greet people given what is happening in our world right now.
Great advice. Seriously hand-shake over-rated. My sister says to people who put their hand out “I don’t shake hands during flu season.” This is just don’t shake hands. Our government added take care of our community look for older people, immune-compromised do what we can for them like pick up groceries, medications keep them safe.
Great post and this is a great idea to switch out the handshake for namaste! I’ve seen a lot of fist bumping, but this is still contact.
Yes stay safe:)
It’s important to move with wisdom during this time.
This was a nice post and I like the Namaste idea. We can prevent the spread of Coronavirus together!
